The INGLOT 20-palette...My Pros and Cons

With my eyeshadows I also got the INGLOT 20-Palette. I was thinking about getting 2 10-palettes but I just liked the idea of what the 20-palette would look like filled. I personally love it but there are pros and cons to it. For me, more pros than cons.

My pros:
The palette is definitely heavy-duty and great quality. It's heavier than most empty palettes but that's something I like about it. It's magnetic...REALLY magnetic...the pull it has is incredibly strong which means my shadows are there to stay unless I want them to come out. I also really like how it opens. All you have to do is slide the top and bottom away from each other. If you try to pry them apart, it'll be more difficult because of the strength of the magnets. I also LOVE how I can see my shadows through the cover. So cute!

My cons:
My only con for the 20-palette is that there isn't a place to label the eyeshadows. It's why I was considering the 10-palettes instead. However, considering that the only reason I'd need to know the exact name of a shadow would be for blogging, it's not that big of a deal. I just created a key in my phone to look back at. You could potentially label the back of the palette but I personally don't want stickers all over it.

The packaging

  1. That's my only problem with it too. For that reason I wrote it all down just in case.

  2. Ooooh, can't wait for swatches of your shadows!

  3. So pretty!! I really love the see thru cover. As much as I want a palette I have enough eyeshadows as is. =(

  4. I have been wanting to try INGLOTS for a while now.. Please let me know how the palette holds up for you!

  5. It looks like you choose some really pretty colors, I can't wait to see the looks you come up with!

  6. This is going to sound really weird, but I was thinking the exact same thing and wasn't sure what to I accidentally placed one of the magnetic corners of the cover of the palette over the corner of an eyeshadow pan, and it lifted it up without having to use a thin tool to lift it out. Obviously, it's still not ideal to have to take it out to identify it, but it makes me feel better than scraping it out with something and potentially cracking the eyeshadow. Just a random thought :)

  7. just got inglot at imats, a little 3 palette! agree about the names, and getting them out is a hassle so I will have to learn to memorize them I guess!

  8. I have always wanted to try Inglot, their shadows look so amazing. Definitely need to order from them, keeping my fingers crossed that they ship worldwide ^_^

    Love Christine ♥
